To prevent any untoward incident during the IPL matches here, the Orissa police has constituted an anti-racism squad to maintain law and order at Barabati Stadium, one of the home venues of Deccan Chargers.

Extra precaution was needed in the wake of racial attack on Indians in Australia. The squad members in plain clothes would be deployed at all sitting places in the stadium including galleries, said a senior police official.

Many Australian players including Deccan captain Adam Gilchrist will feature in the two IPL matches scheduled here on March 19 and 21.

Beside this issue, the requirement of such a squad was essential in view of a threat issued by a local outfit Kalinga Sena, a fringe political outfit which is opposed to participation of Australian players here, the official said.

After arrival, the Deccan Chargers team will start net practice from March 15 at Barabati Stadium.

Kings XI Punjab on March 18 and Delhi Daredevils will have their practice session on March 20, Orissa Cricket Association secretary Asribad Behera told reporters here.

Behera said, "The tickets will be available at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack and Kalinga Satidum in Bhubaneswar from March 13."

Though the tickets were available on-line across the country, the IPL authorities agreed to sale them at counters in the state following request from the OCA, he said adding one person will be allowed to purchase maximum two tickets.

While price of a ticket in galleries has been fixed at Rs 600, the cost of ticket for corporate gallery is Rs 3,000.

Special Enclosure ticket would be sold at the rate of Rs 2,000 each, while price of New Pavilion ticket is Rs 5,000.

A Club House ticket will cost Rs 3,000 and a Corporate Box will be sold at Rs 10,000.
