Mumbai:The October 8-23 Champions League Twenty20 has roped in nine on-ground and on-air partners in addition to the title sponsors, the organisers said on Monday.
Samsung, Havells, Hero Honda, Coca Cola, Onida, Yahoo, Maruti Suzuki, Pepsico and Sony are the tournament's sponsors in various categories, a media release said.
Very few advertising slots remained to be sold by broadcaster ESPN Star Sport in the USD six million tournament featuring 12 teams from seven countries.
The sports broadcaster has already realised more than 95 per cent of the available inventory, the release added.
R C Venkateish, MD, ESPN Software India, said they were well on their way to realise "our commercial objectives."
The tournament, to be held in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi, is to be telecast in 160 countries with commentary in 11 different languages.
