Chris Gayle and Wavell Hinds had also put on 192 for the first wicket for West Indies against Bangladesh at Southampton on September 15, 2004.
The aforesaid partnership is a fourth-wicket record for Pakistan against India, bettering the 168 by the same pair at Jaipur on November 18, 2007. In fact, the 206-run stand is Pakistan's all-time best for the fourth wicket in ODIs, obliterating the 198 (unbroken) between Kamran Akmal and Misbah-ul-Haq against Australia at Abu Dhabi on May 3, 2009.
