Jaipur:The bickering in the Rajasthan Cricket Association continues with both the warring factions putting their own locks on the RCA office gate in the North Block of the Sawai Man Singh stadium here.
The group of "rebels" who had "removed" President Sanjay Dixit on Sunday, claiming the support of 20 out of 33 members of RCA had announced that they would be entering the office situated in the north block of the Sawai Man Singh stadium.
Anticipating trouble, President Sanjay Dixit had informed the local police and locked the office from inside besides putting the barricades on the entrance gate.
The "rebels" led by acting president, Giriraj Sanadya, former secretary Subhash Joshi, former deputy president Bimal Soni, Jaipur District Cricket Association secretary Mohammad Iqbal and their supporters broke through the barricading and put their own lock from outside on the gate of the office.
The "rebel" leaders and their supporters staged a dharna. Soni, who was recently suspended by Dixit, said Rajasthan cricket has never seen such a scenario.
"I have been associated with cricket administration but have never seen this happening when the gates of RCA were locked for elected office bearers. We have the majority and it is like disregarding the democratic norms. We would go BCCI with all the facts," he said.
