Middle-order batsman Adam Voges on Tuesday replaced injured wicket-keeper Brad Haddin, who is nursing a fractured finger, for Australia's seven-match ODI series against England starting at The Oval on September 4.

"With Brad Haddin's injury, the NSP has taken the opportunity to add Adam Voges to Australia's squad for the seven one-day internationals against England," NSP chairman Andrew Hilditch said in a statement.

"Adam will now stay with the squad for the remainder of the Tour of England before travelling with the team to the ICC Champions Trophy in South Africa," he added.

The 29-year-old cracked a crucial 78-ball 72 in the only ODI against Scotland in Edinburgh last week, helping Australia win by 189 runs.

Haddin, who fractured his finger on the left hand prior to the third Ashes Test at Edgbaston, went under the knife last week.
