New Delhi:

Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly on Friday hit back at former Australian coach John Buchanan for criticising Indian cricketers in his recently released book.

"I think we Indians are used to it now. It is not only (Sunil) Gavaskar, there have been quite a few names. It is unfortunate, we just got to deal with it," Ganguly said.

In his latest book 'The Future of Cricket: The rise of Twenty20', Buchanan, who also coached Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, had advised Ganguly to quit Twenty20 even though the left hander refused to oblige.

The Australian described Ganguly as "a man of contradictions" but in the same breath said the left-hander is "a fascinating character" and "psychologists would find him intriguing."

Buchanan also took a swipe at other Indian players like Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and even did not spare Sunil Gavaskar and Vijay Mallya.
