CWG 2014: Vijender Singh Settles for Silver in 75kg Boxing

Vijender Singh was the fourth Indian boxer to lose final bout and settle for silver on the same day.

Glasgow: Indian boxer Vijender Singh had to settle for the silver medal losing 1-2 to England's Anthony Fowler in the final of the men's 75 kg category in the 2014 Commonwealth Games at the SSE Hydro here Saturday. (Day 10 updates | Day 10 in pics)

Vijender, an Olympic bronze medallist, lost the first two rounds 26-30, 27-30. He came back strongly in the final round to win it 30-27. The Indian also suffered a knock-down during the bout. (Sarita gets silver | Devendro settles for bronze)
