Sarul Kanwar was brought in to play for Mumbai Indians for T Suman and he smashed his way after Cobras won the toss and opted to field.
It was Robin Peterson who struck first as he removed Kanwar and followed it up with the wicket of Blizzard.
Cobras sniffed a chance to get back into the match as the bowlers led by Dale Steyn kept the pressure on the Mumbai batsman.
He probably saw the ball bigger than it really was because he smashed 58 runs off 38 balls with three sixes and six boundaries.
Despite the wickets at the other end, including that of Ambati Rayudu, Mumbai posted 176 on the board. The match however could not be resumed after the innings break due to heavy showers.
