New Delhi:Tania Sachdev recently became India's 8th Women's Grandmaster and now she's setting even higher targets – one of which includes taking on the men. 19-year old Tania Sachdev is India's latest teen sensation and the latest woman grandmaster as well. Tania's next target is a men's International Master title. That of course means playing far more tournaments – both abroad and in India – something that hasn't been possible because of the infighting in the Indian chess federation. "They really shouldn't cancel tournaments. That is what affects players the most. There are great academic pressures, plus we need more help from the media, to get sponsorship," said Tania. Breaking records and making waves is nothing new for this young prodigy – her name is in the Limca Book of Records for being the youngest to win an international event. But her biggest contribution by far has been giving a big fillip to the women's game in north India.
