Hello guys!

Well I know that the time difference does not serve you well especially being Monday morning the next day. But I am sure no one went to bed with this riveting exciting ODI between India and the West Indies that went right down to the wire with the tail end of the West Indies side showing nerves of steel.

I was at the ground by 7AM to prepare for the long day ahead of me, live interviews with the sponsors, going live just before the game for Virtual Graphics, and hopefully sneak away to interview one of the Sri Lankan players at there practice.

The game was well under way with Rohit Sharma getting lucky not once but twice, it seemed that this game was played to early and the young Bravo and Sammy seemed to be asleep. But they quickly tightened the screws and with some great team effort of bowling and fielding the Indian wickets started to fall quickly. West Indies were able to reduce India to 229.

The beginning of the second innings started off, I would have to say that there were a equal amount of Indian fans as there was West Indian fans, making this a very atmospheric game standing out there on the ground I could barely hear myself think.

The danger man Chris Gayle looking to be in aggressive form was bowled by Umesh Yadav early on and that sparked a new hope for India, with a massive celebration after. West Indies settled down with Johnson Charles and Darren Bravo anchoring the ship. Just as it was looking like they were taking it home with ease Ashwin strikes and gets a much needed wicket of Darren Bravo.

It looked like this was the break India needed as the wickets started to fall quickly with just a few cameos from the middle order.

Tailender Roach came in as a support for Charles who seemed to be unstoppable, until he was victim of Umesh Yadav bowling attack, West Indies was now 3 runs away from a win and India was one wicket away from their win.

What an absolute nail biter, and a privilege to have been here, Narine and Roach squeaked a win for the West Indies and a absolute no brainer, as to who the man of the match was Johnson Charles just missing his 3 ODI hundred by 3 runs.

That is it from me. I am off to a beautiful undisclosed location to shoot the next post card. You will have to watch the game to see where it is so for now it is good night, till next time.
